Josie de Leon heads Filipino singers in Valentine's fund-raising  concert

"Love is a Wonderful Thing," a fundraising Valentine concert, was successfully held on Februrary 16th at the Kalayaan Community Centre in Mississauga, Ontario.

The show was produced by Ed Bernardo and Chito Carbonell ( E.C prodcutions), which raiseg fund for the in house sound system for Kalayaan Community Centre which is headed by President Ching quejas

The pererformers during the event include the versatile musical belter Josie de Leon back to back with Rico Callao.Both singers treated their audience with an array of lovesongs , that truly touched watchers no matter what age they may be.

Both Rico and Josie shared the stages of love from first love to marriage to breaking up to kiss and make ups. Each stage

interpreted with songs and powerpoint visuals, making the audience so encouraged to be curious and ome even emotionally cried.

The front act performers worth mentioning ere Jirah Callao, Jun Torefrancia, Ed and Judith Flores and Jun Bandolin.

In fact, the Toronto's singers are considered as our "musical treasurers" who deserve to be supported by our Filipino community.

Time will come that they will be sent to the Philippines to show our fellow "Kababyans" of our quality quality singers from Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
